This paper examines the different methods of measuring market risk at different levels of reliability. According to the assumptions of the EVT methods, measuring the effects of the financial crises on the value of assets requires a lot of time-series observations. Therefore, this paper has used four indices: total index, industry index, the first market index and the second market index of the Tehran stock exchange. The backtesting results showed that among the various methods, semi-parametric approach or the EVT approach in comparison with parametric (EWMA, MA, GARCH) and nonparametric approaches (Historical simulation) is more efficient and has a higher level of reliability. Also HS method shows acceptable results at high confidence level, while in calculating the value at risk in the 0.90 and 0.95  confidence levels, parametric methods (EWMA, MA, GARCH) provide more reliable results. Also the richness of the  dynamics of GARCH and EWMA models are much more than the other models. In the next step by incorporating various models, the three models EWMA-EVT, GARCH-EVT and AWHS were made. Backtesting these three patterns showed that, AWHS and EWMA-EVT have provided the best results among various patterns, and have provided acceptable adequacy in estimating the value at risk at all levels of reliability. However; GARCH-EVT model shows acceptable results only in 0.999 reliability level. }, keywords = {Value at Risk,Market Risk,Parametric Estimation,Nonparametric Estimation,Extreme Value Theory (EVT)}, title_fa = {مقایسه رویکرد EVT با سایر روش‏های سنجش ریسک بازار (VaR) در چارچوب پس‌آزمایی و آزمون‌ کوپیک: دلالت‌هایی برای مدیریت ریسک بازار نهادهای مالی}, abstract_fa = {طی سال‏های اخیر، پژوهشگران با به‌کارگیری نظریه مقدار فرین (EVT)، ریسک بازار را به نحو دقیقتری برای وقایع نادر (شرایط بحرانی) محاسبه کرده‏اند. در این راستا، این مقاله، به بررسی روشهای مختلف اندازه‌گیری ریسک بازار در سطوح مختلف اطمینان می‌پردازد. با توجه به اینکه برای اندازه‏گیری اثرات بحران‏های مالی بر ارزش داراییها، روش EVT  براساس فروض نظریه، نیازمند سری‌های زمانی با مشاهدات بسیاری است، ازاین‌رو، در این مقاله از 4 شاخص‏ کل، صنعت، بازار اول و بازار دوم در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران استفاده شده است. نتایج پس‌آزمایی در این پژوهش حاکی از آن است که از بین روشهای مختلف، رویکرد نیمه‌پارامتریک یا همان رویکرد EVT در مقایسه با رویکردهای پارامتریک (EWMA، MA، GARCH) و ناپارامتریک (Historical Simulation) در سطوح اطمینان بالاتر، کارآیی بالاتری دارند. همچنین روش HS در سطوح اطمینان بالا نتایج قابل قبولی را نشان می‏دهد. این در حالی است که روش‏های پارامتریک (EWMA، MA، GARCH) در محاسبه ارزش در معرض ریسک در سطوح اطمینان 90/0 و 95/0 نتایج قابل اطمینان‏تری را ارایه می‏کنند. همچنین پویایی الگوهای GARCH و EWMA نسبت به سایر الگوها بسیار بیشتر است. در بخش بعد، با ترکیب الگوهای مختلف، 3 الگوی EWMA-EVT، GARCH-EVT و AWHS ساخته شد. پس از پس‏آزمایی 3 الگوی یادشده، مشخص شد که دو الگوی AWHS  و EWMA-EVT بهترین نتایج را در بین الگوهای مختلف ارایه و در تمام سطوح اطمینان کفایت قابل قبولی را در تخمین ارزش در معرض ریسک ارایه کرده‏اند. با این حال، الگوی GARCH-EVT تنها در سطح اطمینان 999/0 نتایج قابل قبولی را نشان می‏دهد.}, keywords_fa = {ارزش در معرض ریسک,ریسک بازار,تخمین پارامتریک,تخمین ناپارامتریک,نظریه مقدار فرین (EVT)}, url = {https://ijer.atu.ac.ir/article_7967.html}, eprint = {https://ijer.atu.ac.ir/article_7967_26377bb9ebfd2884561ad8526f58f8d1.pdf} }
