In this study, we compare the results of both basic and extensive forms of the Thirlwall model for developing oil producing countries considering the key role of oil exports and foreign-exchange reserves. To do so, two groups of oil developing countries are categorized based on the average daily oil production. The first category includes Iran, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, and Mexico, and the second one is Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria, and Indonesia. Additionally, the price and income elasticities of demand for imports and exports as well as the co-integration are investigated by using an ARDL (Autoregressive Distributed Lag) model and Pesaran and Shin’s bound test. The price and income elasticities are also calculated with Kalman filter method. Then, we calculate the constrained growth in various forms for ten-year overlapping periods from 1960 to 2016 and finally test the validity of the Thirlwall law. The results indicate that Thirlwall law is not confirmed for several developing oil producing countries. The lower rate of real growth compared to constrained growth of payments in some economies including Iran can be attributed to factors such as the lower rate of capital inflow growth than the growth rate of export volumes as well as the positive effect of foreign income on the constrained growth of payments. The results show that the balance of payments is not a limiting factor for Iran's economic growth which confirms the fact that improving economic growth, in the long run, depends on the improving of the supply side.}, keywords = {Balance of Payment Constrained Growth,Developing Oil Countries,ARDL and Kalman Filter Approach,Bound Test}, title_fa = {محدودیت ترازپرداختها و رشد اقتصادی: شواهدی از قانون تیروال در کشورهای در حال توسعه نفتی( رهیافت ARDL و کالمن فیلتر)}, abstract_fa = {در مدل رشد محدود‌‌شده تراز پرداخت‌ها، متغیرهای تقاضا از جمله صادرات و واردات حد رشد اقتصادی در بلندمدت را تعیین می‌کنند. با توجه به نقش صادرات نفت و منابع ارزی ناشی از آن در اقتصادکشورهای تولیدکننده نفت، کاربرد و مقایسه نتایج حاصل از فرم‌های پایه و گسترده مدل تیروال در کشورهای در حال توسعه نفتی هدف این مطالعه است. برای این منظور،دو گروه کشورهای در حال توسعه نفتی با توجه به متوسط تولید روزانه نفت در نظر گرفته شدهاند؛ گروه اول، شامل کشورهای ایران، عربستان، ونزوئلا و مکزیک و در گروه دوم، شامل کشورهای مصر، الجزایر، نیجریه و اندونزی می‌شود. کشش‌های درآمدی و قیمتی واردات و صادرات و وجود هم‌انباشتگی با استفاده از مدل ARDL و آزمون کرانه‌های پسران و شین، همچنین محاسبه کشش‌ها با روش کالمن فیلتر مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. سپس رشد محدود شده در فرم‌های مختلف برای دوره‌های همپوش 10 ساله در دوره زمانی 2016-1960 محاسبه و درنهایت اعتبار قانون تیروال آزمون شده است. نتایج بیانگر عدم تایید قانون تیروال در اغلب کشورهای در حال توسعه است. کمتر بودن رشد واقعی از رشد محدود شده تراز پرداخت‌ها در اقتصادهایی از جمله ایران را می‌توان به عواملی مانند نرخ پایین‌تر رشد جریان ورودی سرمایه نسبت به نرخ رشد حجم صادرات و اثر مثبت درآمد خارجی بر رشد محدود شده تراز پرداخت‌ها نسبت داد. این نتیجه که وضعیت تراز‌پرداخت‌ها محدودکننده رشد اقتصادی ایران نبوده است، تاییدی بر این دیدگاه است که بهبود رشد اقتصادی ایران در بلندمدت منوط به بهبود وضعیت طرف عرضه است.}, keywords_fa = {رشد محدود شده تراز پرداخت‌ها,کشورهای در حال توسعه نفتی,رهیافت ARDL و کالمن فیلتر,آزمون کرانه}, url = {https://ijer.atu.ac.ir/article_12527.html}, eprint = {https://ijer.atu.ac.ir/article_12527_c406bd41b8752cec1360b796a41d5a39.pdf} }
